Who We Are!

Swimming is an essential life skill which is important to acquire as soon as one is able to as water dangers are everywhere (especially true for Singapore which is surrounded by water !). In the warm weather of the summer, jumping into the swimming pool or the sea to cool down might prove irresistible but for a non-swimmer, even a few inches of water will be sufficient to post a hazard. A miss-step, a misjudgement, or even a playful friend might cause near-drowning incidence which might cause a deep emotional phobia (Read: fear of water) which may be permanent.

Here at Swimin-SG, we offer a wide range of courses which can cater to all who are interested in learning to swim. Mainly Group classes, private 1 to 1 (Child), private 1 to 1 (Adult), confidence class.

Our bread and butter are coaching child (year 3 to 12) and adult (13years and above) who have phobia in water. With a tailored made course based on the current confidence level of the student, with small confidence exercises where they can build up the confidence and trust in a gradual scale.

All our coaches are fully certified and accredited and registered with National Registry of Coaches (NROC), with the certification to teach the MOE approved Swimsafer Aquatic Program, your child will be able to enjoy the lesson with ease as all our coaches are certified lifesaver (SLSS bronze), and are all CPR and first aid Trained.

Our Mission

Our mission is to impart the swimming skills (which will never be unlearned) to any individual, as we believe that anyone has the right to experience the joy of being free and to have good fun in the water, never to be fearful of the pool and always be the ones looking after the bags.

Optimum learning with young kids is achieved with the alignment of vision and objective of the child with complete support of the coach and the parents. The coaching methodology has to be tailored to the individual child personality with consideration placed on maintaining interest level and pushing competence level. Trust and understanding between parents and coach will need to be established to ensure coaching progress is in line with the objective.
